Greet and welcome guests, establish rapport, and provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving disputes and adhering to guest requests.
Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.
Observe all games, players and dealers to ensure accuracy of game and game protection within an assigned area.
Verify all bankrolls from previous shifts to ensure accuracy and maintain proper bankroll levels to accommodate existing or anticipated play.
Monitor games and maintain appropriate game pace.
Accurately track player actions by noting buy-ins, length of play, win/loss and average bet.
Assist in training and evaluating subordinate employees in a fair and equitable manner.
Operate all games in accordance with gaming laws, Title 31 and company policies.
Verify the accuracy of all documents signed and ensures that all procedures are accurately followed.
Notify supervisor/manager of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely and responsible manner.
Proactively resolve any guest issue that arises, including the coordination of departmental assistance when necessary.
Issue complementary amenities based upon specific casino guidelines for levels of play.
Performs all other job related duties as requested.
At least 21 years of age.
At least 2 years of experience dealing multiple games.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Previous experience with casino computer programs.
Ability to input and extract player information into computer system.
Working knowledge and ability to supervise assigned games.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
