At BMC, we value the Receptionist as our customers' first impression, first resource, and first welcome to our company. They receive and direct incoming calls in a helpful and effective way by operating a multiple line switchboard. They also provide information to incoming customers and perform a variety of clerical support duties. Bilingual in English & Spanish.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Receives and directs incoming calls; serves as location receptionist.

  • Opens and sorts daily mail.

  • Takes and relays messages.

  • Provides information to customers as required.

  • Performs other related duties as necessary.

  • Sends outgoing and receives incoming faxes to be disbursed.

  • Shipping outgoing packages.

  • Data input or word processing as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum education required—High School Graduate

  • Special skills required—Ability to operate multiple line switchboard. Should possess positive interpersonal skills and energetic customer relations skills.

  • Confidentiality requirement--minimal

Required Experience

  • Minimum experience required—None. Some exposure to business environment helpful.
