Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive ID Checker to join the Security Management Team for EDC LV 2019. This position will insure each Headliner entering the venue has the proper ID and is the age eighteen or older. The ID Checker will focus on checking Headliners IDs and protecting Insomniac’s best interest. This position reports to the Director of Security and the Headliner Experience Department.
Uses basic and advanced knowledge to detect fake or passed off identification to enter the venue.
Notifies direct supervisor when a person presents a fake or passed off identification.
Report in all black, with flashlight, loop, and writing material.
Uses personal vehicle to travel to business engagements; may travel out of town on business
Attends and works company events (domestic/international travel expected)
Must have clean criminal and driving record, current license, passport, and car insurance
Works evening and weekend hours as needed to meet deadlines and works effectively under high level of pressure and demanding time lines
Assists with other duties as assigned on a regular or occasional basis
Have the basic knowledge of fake or fraudulent identifications from various states.
Know the age necessary to check for eighteen years or above.
Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to continuously stand or walk
Must be able to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces
May frequently work in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels in the work environment
