Throughout our 25-year history, Insomniac has produced almost 400 festivals, concerts and club nights for over 4 million attendees in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, with expansions into Mexico, Brazil, Asia and Europe. Insomniac’s premier annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the largest multi-day music festival in North America and attracted more than 400,000 fans over three days in May 2018. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and is based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
RESPONSIBILITIES• Work with department head and project managers to communicate details of the event to crew leads• Operate water cannon at front of stage to keep crowds cool• Comply with company safety regulations• Provide support to the department by keeping work area clean and safe• Follow all safety and department policies• With supervision, and adequate training, safely operate hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment • Diagnose problems, and with supervision, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments• Perform other duties as assigned or needed
QUALIFICATIONS• 3+ years minimum festival or concert tour experience preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments• May work in drastic temperature climates• Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
