About the RoleWe are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the TSI team. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving client and prospect engagement with the brand through creative an strategic marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be tasked with creating, editing, and managing content and various marketing projects across multiple platforms and channels. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. Responsibilities

  • Generating creative, engaging content

  • Content Library Management – ensure all content is up-to-date, relevant, and properly branded

  • Creation of high-visibility presentations and sales collateral

  • Coordinating execution of the blog editorial calendar, in close partnership with the manager of content marketing, including development of content ideas in line with overall marketing strategy

  • Managing the internal blogpost approvals process and publishing the posts

  • Developing and/or revising text for other venues, including company website(s) and social media content calendars

  • Implement learnings from analytics and past blog/blogpost performance to influence blog content and overall strategy

  • Outreach strategy for online content and for improving SEO results of the blog, as well as publishing in WordPress or similar content management systems

  • Managing and monitoring social media channels

  • Researching opportunities to interact with influencers in strategic verticals

  • Writing and/or gathering content from business partners

  • Managing the internal content approvals process

  • Adhering to brand standards

  • Mass Communications to online community of employees, clients, and vendors / partners

  • Contributing to strategic & creative company-wide retention programs

  • Sales and Marketing event management

  • Graphic Design – Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred

  • Managing online solutions, i.e., Sales Agent “online store” and creative image subscription source.


  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and editorial skills, strong attention to detail, and prior blogging/Internet writing experience.

  • High proficiency in WordPress, and social media community management platforms

  • The ability to work with cross-functional teams, a knack for conducting research, and the ability to get up-to-speed quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
