HAECO Americas Material Specialist in Lake City, Florida

Duties include all aspects of managing station recoverable, expendable, consumable and tool inventories. Store, count, and verify materials located in the station inventory area, while providing information on revolving inventory levels on an as needed basis. Fill material requisitions and picks promptly and accurately. Report and correct material discrepancies and shortages in a timely manner to facilitate daily needs. Insure accountability for all materials. Issue and control tools and tooling for complete accountability of all tooling assets.



  1. Coordination of company and customer materials and tooling to maintain a constant and accurate inventory.

  2. Ensure materials are properly stored and secure in an orderly manner consistent with established Company and Customer procedures.

  3. Properly receive, stock, ship, count, verify and handle all recoverable, expendable, consumable and tooling inventories.

  4. Check received goods to ensure correct identification and quantities.

  5. Ship materials to vendor and/or customer as required with proper documentation.

  6. Ensures shelf life and Hazmat materials are properly managed.

  7. Order material for proper resolution to inbound discrepancies.

  8. Ensure all unserviceable, rotable and repairable parts are properly accounted for and returned to the customer or designated vendor in a timely manner.

  9. Maintain accuracy of inventory on customers' computer based material systems.

  10. Maintain a good rapport with customer and support positive customer relations.

  11. Review item usage rates for inventory quantity adjustments or possible return to customer master inventory.


  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

  2. Previous experience in materials handling and inventory control or logistics.

  3. One (1) year of stores experience preferred.

  4. Must be fluent in speaking, reading, writing and understanding the English Language.

  5. Must have working knowledge of receipt, verification and stocking parts.

  6. Must be a self starter, proactive and capable of taking direction and moving forward without constant supervision.

  7. Must be able to communicate with all levels of the corporate structure and deal with customers in a manner that will enhance business relations.


  1. Knowledge of Commercial Aviation vendors, aircraft systems/parts, tooling and GSE.

  2. Large Commercial Jet Aircraft maintenance experience/or demonstrated applicable experience within the industry.

  3. Previous experience with Aviation Material, Tooling Logistics.

  4. Knowledge of and experience with interpreting and understanding Aviation Technical Publications.

  5. One (1) year of aviation stores experience.

  6. Knowledge of aviation tooling.
