Develop software programs and components using VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL and other software development tools and technologies per assigned tasks
Debug, test, and troubleshoot written software programs and components
Study training materials on .NET development, programming standards, application architecture, business processes, and functional areas of LHI's business applications
Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, platforms and frameworks to support the needs of LHI’s software projects
Adhere to Agile software development methodology
Associate's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science,Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field or anequivalent combination of education (some college or vocationaltraining), technical expertise and / or applicable military experience
Understanding of object oriented programming concepts
Working knowledge with object oriented programming languages like VB.NET, C# or Java
Technical skills including strong understanding of software development methodologies and principles
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86 at http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf
National Career Readiness Certificate
Experience with .NET technologies including VB.NET or C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web and Web / WCF Services
Experience with n - tier .NET SQL database application architectures
Experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, MVC, Web API applications
Working knowledge with .NET / SQL development tools including Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio and Team Foundation Server
Knowledge of SQL Server and relational database modeling concepts
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including Microsoft Excel (ability to sort, sum, insert bar graphs and use formulas), Microsoft Word (ability to create documents and complete mail merging), Microsoft Outlook (ability to manage email, calendar, and task lists), and Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to create presentations with images, words, charts / graphs and merging data from Excel)

As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group 's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86 at http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf , (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post - offer, and can take 3 - 6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.
