General Electric Staff Technical Project Manager (Data & Analytics PM) in Krakow, Poland

Role Summary:Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. Partners at a strategic level with functional product owner to define features backlog and requirements, works with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality.

Essential Responsibilities:All GE employees may be considered for this role. Candidates should note that this role will be in scope for the proposed transition of GE Biopharma to Danaher and will transfer to Danaher at close of this transaction.

•Manages all aspects of one or more small to medium complex projects from initiation through closure in Data & Analytics team

•Creates project plans and cost estimates

•Establishes and manages client relationships, leads and assists in planning reporting initiatives

•Ensure successful transition to support and maintenance teams

•Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as requested by customer

•Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback

•Develops peer, cross-functional and cross-GE business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

Qualifications/Requirements:•Experience with Agile software development methodologies

•Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication

•Project management experience in global environments

•Good working knowledge of database design concepts and SQL

•Good working knowledge and exposure to Business intelligence and data warehousing tools and technologies like Qlikview, Tableau, Informatica, Cognos, Business Objects, OBIEE, etc

•Ability to learn complex business systems/processes and develop innovative solutions to meet the business requirements

•BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent

•Minimum five (5) years of experience in IT preferably in the BI space including no less than two years of project management experience
