For our finance department that is a part of new Business Service Operation (BSO) organisation, we are searching for a new colleague who would join the team as Manager Specialist for General Ledger (GL).

Our financial team of 10 people that is responsible for General Ledger for Denmark and Nordic entities.

Managing advanced execution of General Ledger processes, partner for stakeholders

• Managing more advanced execution of GL processes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including:

o Monthly and year-end closing – preparation of financial statements, control of these statements, end-to-end view about the process

o Booking economic transactions and operations

o Reconciliations (accounts, intercompany, bank, etc.) and translating business transactions into journal entries in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP to ensure all accounts are properly stated in Legal books

o Perform regular controls

o Participation and leadership of projects

o Provide data, analysis and advice necessary to support financial business partners / business in decision making process

• Contact person for external auditors

• Constantly optimize processes and work procedures using the LEGO Continuous improvement approach

• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (IFRS)

Key requirements

• University degree in Economy, Finance or Accountancy field

• Min. 3-5 years of experience in Accounting

• Strong experience of working and driving a highly collaborative environment in a global setting, promoting coherence and the end-to-end perspective

• Advanced level of English, Danish is advantage

• Audit experience is advantage

• Knowledge of MS Office (advanced MS Excel)

• Experience with SAP is advantage

• Analytical and detail-oriented person, punctual, pro-active and optimistic

• Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key stakeholders
