Blue Origin New Shepard Hardware-in-the-Loop Manager in Kent, Washington
As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will lead a team to develop and operate the New Shepard Hardware-in-the-Loop integration facility. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.
Minimum of a B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field (equivalent experience may be substituted for degree)
5+ years of software or hardware engineering experience
Experience working in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or system integration labs (SIL)
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated history of hands-on engineering troubleshooting, such as electronic lab test equipment
Ability to lead a team on rapid development programs
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Experience in analog to digital and digital to analog converters, power supply components and design, analog testing/troubleshooting techniques, and signal integrity, layout and grounding principles
Applied experience with hard real-time operating systems and embedded systems
Broad understanding of instrumentation, interfaces and sensors including DMMs, DAQ, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, DIO, GPIB, Serial-422, UDP, GigE, SPI, switch technologies and topologies, accelerometers, RTDs, thermocouples, and 4-20mA sensors
Experience leading a team of cross-discipline engineers
Experience with a Unix-like operating system (Linux, BSD, etc.) command-line interface and shell scripting
Experience with programming in Python.
Strong project management skills
