UMB Bank Client Relations Mgr Sr in Kansas City, Missouri
What You'll Do:
This role will manage and support clients in the set-up, conversion and on-going support of new and existing institutional relationships, or new/additional products and services.
Develop and manage ongoing institutional banking and investment service client relationships
Lead cross-sell strategies for existing client portfolios; marshalling sales and product management experts as needed. Strategies are ultimately expected to lead to consistent year over year growth in client revenue
Manage client set-up and conversion activities (legal, operational, technical)
Support client on an on-going basis with product development assistance, problem escalation and special projects (e.g. system testing, development)
Assists in the preparation of UMB senior executives for meetings with information regarding client & the relationship when needed
Assist the sales team to produce product collateral material for new prospects
Assist sales force in closing opportunities by providing subject-matter expertise and creative solutions to client need
Collaborate with Commercial Product Development and Sales to integrate commercial and institutional products where advantageous to existing clients of UMB
Must be able to exhibit a poised, professional & polished demeanor in meetings (that will likely include senior executives)

In this Role, You will Need:
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel (or comparable packages), Access, PowerPoint
Demonstrates ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Demonstrates strategic thinking, ability to synthesize information and effectively communicate the relevant details to the respective audience, both verbally and in written form (high articulacy)
Demonstrates high level of analytical ability to drive results and proactively manage multiple priorities

This role will focus primarily on Agent Bank relationships within Institutional Banking. Additional duties may include:
Prospect for new Agent Bank relationships
Support clients with marketing and acquisition campaigns.
Experience within the card industry is highly desired.

Who You Are:
Must have Bachelor's in Business or other related discipline or equivalent work experience
3 years sales or relationship management experience
