Schneider Electric Channel Marketing Manager (Panel Builders) in Johannesburg, South Africa

This position is responsible to support Building BU VP on all matters relating to Channel Marketing. It includes strategy, channel development, commercial policy, marketing budget, market animation program, reporting and sales provision.

Channel Development

  • Responsible to lead all Channel initiatives targeting the Generalist Distribution Channel.

  • Identify and develop new channels to serve the market.

Commercial Policy

  • Working with the BU VP to define the commercial policy.

  • Ensure the Channel’s Commercial Policy are known, deployed and applied.

  • Working with Business development team to compound the rebate for distributors.

Sales Provision

  • Manage the Annual Sales Provisions by Customers / Product family with the Finance BP.

  • Manage available Provisions to support all related Programs.

Market Animation Program

  • Responsible to define necessary initiatives and programs to execute the Annual Sales and Marketing Plan, then coordinate the Execution team to deploy those initiatives, programs.

Marketing Budget

  • Responsible to manage all Sales Provisions & Budget.

Channel Reporting

  • Support BU VP and other BUs on all daily / monthly / quarterly / half yearly and yearly reports

  • Generate Sales Dashboard to support Internal / External customers’ requirements

Strategy

  • Support BU VP on defining the Retail / Distribution Strategy for South Africa market and translate into actionable initiatives, include but not limit to

  • Go-to-Market Strategy for the network.

  • Strategy for Electrician customer segment.

  • Strategy for product offers.

  • Lead the Annual Marketing and Sales Plan process, from building the plan till execution.

  • University degree with 10 years of experience in Sales, Channel Marketing for distribution business.

  • Electrical background highly desirable

  • Experience in E-commerce.

  • Strong ability to lead and navigate in a Matrix organization (Country, Region and cross-business units) with stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal through various formats

  • Attention to details, proactive, dynamic and effective individuals.

  • Able to work independently and proactively.

  • Willing to travel (up to 50% of working time)
