Keyboarding and Microsoft Word proficiency, excellent general computer skills, Legal office/court support experience a plus. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work closely with co-workers, manage a legal caseload, work independently, and interface with a diverse group of people, including elected officials, courthouse staff, legal offices, State and local law enforcement, probation and parole, victims of crimes, and/or citizens; must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the workplace.Typical daily duties: Receive, screen and route incoming telephone calls and visiting members of the public. Keyboard, file and process legal documents; maintain office files; communicate and interact with numerous agencies and offices, follow direction from attorneys on assigned tasks and report back to attorneys as needed.
