This position requires about 85% of time spent stationary at desk and about 15% of time spent out on the floor for investigation when needed. Candidate should be comfortable with an office environment and stationary work. This position requires a basic knowledge of Excel and utilizing spreadsheets for tracking and data entry. This position will also require the candidate to be on a variety of conference calls on a weekly basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • InvestigatingETAs on medication delays

  • Completingpurchase orders and placing order with appropriate vendor to supplementstock

  • Coveringback up functions for employees out on PTO (out of stock reporting,investigating and closing out open purchase orders, receivingdiscrepancies)

  • Completingcontract log changes as they are cascaded from Industry Relations (IR)

  • Assistingwith conversions of medications when needed

  • Monitoringteam inbox to respond to vendor inquiries, accounting questions, etc.

  • Assistingwith new integration sites (training, process review, and performingordering functions – Pine Brook, Orlando, and Chicago)

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Word (creating basic documents and correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort, filter, utilization of formulas, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (send and receive emails and calendar management)

  • Ability to work Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST; overtime and weekends may be required according to business needs - ample notification will be given in these instances

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience within supply chain or purchasing industry

  • Strong interested in pharmaceutical/supply chain industry

  • State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician License

  • Seeks opportunity to learn/develop (internally and externally)
