As a Photohealth Chemist I placed with Kelly Services you will be responsible for performing method development/validation and routine test analysis of solutions and products according to test methods which utilize a variety of physical property techniques, including: pH, conductivity, osmolality, spectroscopy (%T and ΔOD), refractive index, water content, contact angle, analyze, review and report data generated using Labware LIMS.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Receives and organizes samples in the lab
Prepare and analyze samples and controls as per indicated method
Set up instrumentation as needed for analysis
Analyze data and enter results into Labware LIMS
Perform OOS/OOT analysis and reports as needed
Support validations via testing and data analysis based on validation protocols
Follow approved SOP’s for services provided
Follow all EHS policies for required PPE and waste management
Maintain a record of all work via laboratory notebook as per GxP guidelines
Perform all work based on GxP guidelines
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science or related scientific field
1-2 years working experience in R&D or appropriate scientific field
Ability to operate and maintain instruments via computer automation with little to no supervision after training
Thorough knowledge, understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices of cGMP/GLP guidelines
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
