As a Photohealth Chemist I placed with Kelly Services you will be responsible for performing method development/validation and routine test analysis of solutions and products according to test methods which utilize a variety of physical property techniques, including: pH, conductivity, osmolality, spectroscopy (%T and ΔOD), refractive index, water content, contact angle, analyze, review and report data generated using Labware LIMS.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Receives and organizes samples in the lab

  • Prepare and analyze samples and controls as per indicated method

  • Set up instrumentation as needed for analysis

  • Analyze data and enter results into Labware LIMS

  • Perform OOS/OOT analysis and reports as needed

  • Support validations via testing and data analysis based on validation protocols

  • Follow approved SOP’s for services provided

  • Follow all EHS policies for required PPE and waste management

  • Maintain a record of all work via laboratory notebook as per GxP guidelines

  • Perform all work based on GxP guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science or related scientific field

  • 1-2 years working experience in R&D or appropriate scientific field

  • Ability to operate and maintain instruments via computer automation with little to no supervision after training

  • Thorough knowledge, understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices of cGMP/GLP guidelines

  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Application of principles, concepts and practices of cGMP/GLP guidelines
