Copper River Information Technology BAS Technician in Islamabad, Pakistan
Perform skilled work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair to facilities building automated systems (BAS).
Monitor the performance of heating, cooling, and related systems by interpreting the energy management system alarms and temperature and pressure differentials, troubleshoots problems, and makes adjustments, when necessary
Perform preventive maintenance work based on equipment manufactures recommended procedures and the facilities computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Maintain accurate records of buildings systems and equipment and ensure there are ample spare parts and materials in stock to keep systems operational
Perform skilled mechanical maintenance by inspecting and testing elements of facilities systems to locate and diagnose faults and malfunctions
Troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments and/or perform required repairs using hand tools and precision measuring and testing devices
Qualified/Certified with the BAS Systems at the BEC
5 – 7 years minimum of related experience
5 years’ minimum in the experience of Operation & Maintenance of building automation systems including the computer and microprocessor-controlled components
Minimum of 5 years spent in direct operations and maintenance of BAS
3 years of in a large, modern commercial or government facility, domestic or overseas
Completion of an accredited elevator apprentice program for maintenance and repair of elevators, dumbwaiters, accessibility lifts, and material lifts as defined in ASME 17.1 Safety Standard for Elevators and Escalators
Demonstrated experience of the installed equipment and provide documented proof of factory training by the original equipment manufacturer
Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation and ability to maintain it
Must have good working knowledge to identify and mitigate safety hazards and capable to ensure Facilities comply with local environmental, U.S. OSHA, and local safety standards.
Ability to interact effectively with individuals in garnering cooperation and support for key planning and project management initiatives in the assigned program area
Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Services
