Manage the woven technical design process and team to ensure product performance, style details, fit and quality are achieved for each style through the fit approval process. Manage the time & action calendar to ensure on-time fit approval for all styles, complete and accurate details are in tech packs and communicated to vendors. Team with internal partners to ensure tech pack details are accurate and complete. Partner with internal teams, agents and vendors to address and resolve all issues during pre-production.

Team with internal and external partners to identify & leverage the best practices to achieve cost, quality, on time delivery, social and environmental goals.

Required Skills

  • Support team in managing the fit approval process and work prioritization.

  • Monitor fit approval time & action. Provide fit approval status updates in weekly meetings with SCM, and meetings with agents and vendors.

  • Partner with internal teams and leaders to resolve issues with style details, quality and performance prior to fit approval.

  • Ensure team has access to all information to complete tech packs and fit approve on time.

  • Lead technical design team. Provide training, education and feedback for continuous growth & development.

  • Manage work efficiency, work prioritization and implement time management best practices.

  • Support budget planning and budget management.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Technical Design or Design.

  • 8-10 years of industry experience in Technical Design Management.

  • Proficiency in product construction, sizing, grading, fit, patternmaking, product performance and textiles.

  • Proficiency in computer applications: PLM, patternmaking, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
