Edwards Lifesciences Inside Sales Representative in Irvine, California

Edwards Critical Care takes individuals with values and a ‘desire to win’ attitude to form a passionate career in sales. The Associate Specialist, Inside Sales (Critical Care) role is a new career development program for those interested in becoming a territory manager for Edwards Lifesciences.

You will be responsible for generating sales, while supporting current territory managers within an assigned region. This will be your entry level first step in developing a career at Edwards Lifesciences.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate outbound calls to target customers not actively supported by external Sales representatives (e.g., Pulmonary Catheters, Transducer holders)

  • Recommend and strategize to propose basic pricing with new and existing customers, by utilizing account history and situational/sales data.

  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and customers to provide an Edwards substitute for competitive product, provide literature and all other systems of support to promote Edwards disposable products.

  • Create and forecast sales opportunities while maintaining follow-up activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems

  • Other duties assigned by Leadership for growth and development

  • Ability to travel 15% of the year to support company initiatives and gain field experience

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year work/internship experience is required

  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn complex products through independent learning.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • A high capacity to learn relevant information regarding medical products and business practices

  • Solid understanding of complex computer systems, review target accounts, customize offers, cultivate leads, order/sample product and document activities.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group

  • Ability to build stable working relationships internally
