Job Description

ICF International is adding staff to its energy efficiency team in Irvine, CA to support a wide range of energy efficiency programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government organizations. We are seeking to fill a mid-level position that will work in support of the Program Team and the Program Manager to provide critical management services for utility sponsored energy efficiency projects focused on residential, commercial and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities – The successful candidate will provide critical support to the Program Team and Program Manager through the exceptional performance of the following activities:

  • Supporting the management and motivation of a multi-functional project team comprised of technical, marketing and IT specialists (some ICF internal staff and some subcontractors) to ensure timely and professional completion of all tasks and achieve specific program goals

  • Overseeing and tracking external communication activities to make certain all messaging is accurate, consistent and timely. Work to develop strategies to influence market adoption of energy efficiency services

  • Managing budgets and resources to maximize efficiencies

  • Support the development and implementation of long-term business plans for growing energy efficiency work in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in a related field

  • 2 to 3 years of experience supporting the development and management of successful electric and gas energy efficiency programs for residential, commercial &/or Industrial markets.

  • Familiarity with residential, commercial &/or Industrial markets with related energy efficient and renewable technologies.

  • Proven experience supporting the management and motivation of teams of professionals

  • Knowledge of electric and gas energy efficiency and US policies for residential commercial &/or industrial sectors

  • Knowledge of the various market partners and channels that would be leveraged to implement a successful residential, commercial &/or industrial energy efficiency programs

  • Proven ability to develop, manage and meet client expectations

  • Excellent time management skills that allow for success in a fast-paced results-focused environment.

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team

  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

  • Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities
