The Role:

The Box Office Representative will interact with customers to sell tickets to guests, hand out will call tickets, and handle any ticketing issues that may arise. Box Office Representatives also work in the lawn chair stands renting lawn chairs to patrons attending the various concerts.

Job Functions:

  • Sell concert tickets to patrons at events.

  • Greet guests attending events.

  • Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued.

  • Help guests with tickets when tickets don't scan at the gates and/or guests have issues locating their tickets on their mobile devices

  • Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.

  • Refuse admittance to undesirable persons or persons without tickets or passes.

  • Settle seating disputes or help solve other guest concerns.

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions according to Live Nation's audit guidelines

  • Balance out at the end of each shift with the box office supervisor

  • Work in lawn chair stands collecting money for lawn chair rentals and balance out at the end of each shift with the box office supervisor


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Prior cash handling experience

  • Ticketmaster experience is strongly encouraged

  • At least 2 years in Customer Service and communications

  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

  • A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Position requires sitting for periods at a time and walking both inside and outside the box office
