Job Description

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of EUCOM’s mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Systems Application Integration Engineer. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Responsible for supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows Enterprise network with multiple types of servers and server applications. Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing programs and applications. Drive customer analysis to create applications that respond to customer needs and provide innovative solutions to common problems. Perform prototyping application tests and code reviews to ensure product is satisfactory. Interpret Technical Specifications from customers and select controls to meet them. Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop technical designs and provide recommendations on solutions to the customer.

Responsible for the effective and efficient operation and interconnectivity of a Department of Defense Network and will execute the actions required to correct deficiencies or shortcomings and to improve system performance and efficiency. Performing System Administration and System Security. Provide Tier 2/3 level support to the customer and their components to include application infrastructure, design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Other duties as assigned.

More About the Role:

Provide infrastructure engineering designs, builds, and escalated support to services and products. Support network engineering activities that span across multiple technologies and platforms. Perform engineering functions found in the service design domain and provide escalated support to incident management. Support engineering efforts to design, build, test, integrate, transition, implement, document, and train when transitioned to IT Operations Management.

Additionally, the Systems Application Integration Engineer will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain

  • BA/BS 3+ years recent specialized or AA/AS + 5 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 9 years of recent specialized experience

  • Certifications: MCSE – Server 2012, Linux+, RHCE

  • DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance

  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL/Oracle.

  • Act as a resource to team members, participates in team and professional meetings

  • TESA eligibility

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • ITIL v3 – Foundation

  • Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs

  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory

  • Experience with VmWare ESXi administration

  • Experience with managing and developing Group Policies
