Job LocationThe Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.Job DutiesThe Progressive Care Unit is an exciting, fast-paced environment ideal for nurses seeking to learn and grow in their nursing career. This 12-bed unit cares for a diverse patient population and those with complex health and social issues. Community Hospital East is experiencing an exciting time with the construction of a new facility occurring and the expansion of this unit!The Registered Nurse demonstrates performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the organization. The Registered Nurse manages patient care in the health care continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. The Registered Nurse demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resourcesExperienceExperience preferred, but will consider new grad RNsEducationGraduate of Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited school of nursing, or three years related professional nursing experience.
