Position SnapshotThe Environmental Technician Driver will be responsible for proper transportation of waste streams from various generator sites to the appropriate waste receiving facility. Operate Tractors Trailers to perform pickups containerized hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Performs a variety of duties that comply with government regulations and procedures.Day in the LifeAfter grabbing your favorite morning beverage you can expect to:* Operate a tractor trailer* Sort and segregate hazardous materials* Perform LTL Pickups* Maintain company equipment* Ensure customer satisfaction* Maintain vehicle log* Maintain clear and concise documentation of manifests and work orders* DOT Pre-trip and Post trip inspections and compliance with all DOT regulations* Drive for an average of 8 to 14 hours per day with heavy loads being disposed of at designated TSDF facilities* Assist in maintaining good housekeeping at facility and on grounds* Performs other, related duties as assigned.
