Robert Half International Accounts Payable Manager in Independence, Ohio
Manage the timely and efficient processing of invoices, three-way match and weekly check runs for multiple locations, while reducing manual inputs and improving accuracy Document and update all processes to ensure employees are trained and roles are cross-trained to effectively execute the accounts payable function. Manage the balance sheet reconciliations of AP-Trade, Accrued Receipts, Unvouchered payables and other applicable accounts. Assist in providing required documentation for external and internal audit needs Communicate with other functional areas regarding status on projects and changes in processes related to accounts payable and other transactions. Ensure internal controls are established and properly maintained for your areas of responsibility Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity Provide supervision and development opportunities for staff Ability to manage and track projects to optimize team performance Responsible for developing and implementing operational metrics to enhance overall performance Travel to North America locations as needed, estimated 5%-10%

Education and/or Experience * Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance) from a four-year college or university * Five (5) to ten (10) years related work experience
Preferred Systems Experience Plex, BaaN, AIM, B L, Pointman, or other similar ERP software packages Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Internet, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software
