Under the direction of the Count Team Supervisor, the incumbent assists in sorting, counting and recording of currency in the Count Room.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include but are not limited to:
Must possess basic math skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
Record cash drop
Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
Verifies documentation removed from drop boxes with information recorded on master game worksheet.
Assists with all Count Room Department activities as assigned.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Proficient in general math skills
High school diploma or GED as well as money-handling skills or a combination of education and/or experience.
Experience in working with public under stressful conditions preferred; or an equivalent combination or education and/or work experience.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of cash handling experience required. Cage operations experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Will be exposed to casino related factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License.
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
