Boeing Global Sales and Marketing is seeking a Strategic Deterrence Systems Global Sales and Marketing Representative to lead the MMIII sustainment and support contract captures and customer relationships. The successful candidate for this position will assess and investigate potential markets and opportunities within the MMII sustainment and support portfolio, acquire new business by creating campaign plans with objectives, strategies, tactics, contact plans and resources to meet operational commitments; providing status of marketing campaigns to leadership; supporting marketing organizations communications.

The ideal candidate will have the option to work from Huntsville, Alabama or Ogden, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Annual USAF program funding process; coordinate with corporate leaders, suppliers, customers and constituents: developing program plans, cost, schedule and position papers for USAF, OSD, and Congress to seek additional funding for ICBM related new business activities.

  • Lead a team to survey, identify, adapt and apply advanced technology to satisfy MMIII Operational and Maintenance requirements, developing the request for and managing the new business funds in support of the annual operating plan and managing customer and internally funded studies and design efforts to develop and validate new capabilities for the MMIII community.

  • Applying Systems Engineering and Program Management best practices to plan, budget, staff and execute projects: working with the customer and suppliers to meet performance, cost and schedule requirements; and working with the functional management to ensure proper skills, facilities and tools are in place to execute on our commitments.

  • Using the Boeing Integrated Acquire Business Process, Federal Acquisition Regulations and other applicable processes to staff, develop, manage, deliver and support proposals though contract award and beyond to plan execute and support contract Keep It Sold activities as required.

  • Engage external USSTRATCOM and USAF audiences and customers to understand capability needs, acquisition process, provide capability analysis, and identify potential Boeing solutions.

  • Developing a technical and marketing strategy and associated business case analysis to ensure a sustained backlog of projects, supporting Business Operations in the development of the annual Long Range Business Plan, performing market analysis to estimate additional backlog of the 5 year planning period, documenting planning assumptions and requirements and status progress to the plan.

  • Provide leadership with MMIII customer/market knowledge to support development of capabilities/ solutions and offerings to meet external customer needs.

  • Promote, coordinate and facilitate synergy between the various USAF and MMIII programs: Advocate and plan advocacy for our capabilities/solutions through promotion, events, media/advertising, and customer engagement, develop press releases in coordination with communications personnel to promote current and future USAF and MMIII programs, providing technical and verbal content to communications, supporting communications as a spokesperson for Boeing, developing position papers on multiple projects, programs and USAF and MMIII initiatives.

  • Maintaining a relationship with community leaders at Hill AFB base locations, executing Communications and Business Development campaigns, developing promotional materials such as flyers, product cards and trade show panels, specifying Promotional items for distribution, attending trade shows, customer and civic meetings and events as required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree / Technical degree (technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)

  • Experience leading Projects or Teams

  • 10 years of experience in a customer facing role

  • Experience in a role that required strong written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 years’ experience in business capture, global sales and marketing or a related field

  • Experience conducting data analysis

  • Experience presenting to senior leaders and/or executives

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Technical bachelor's degree and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 18 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
