This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Defense Acquisition Inc seeks highly qualified candidates to support the Missile Defense Agency in cost estimating and analysis.Position Description: Full time Cost Estimating Analyst supporting the development, fielding, and integration of the Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). Cost Estimating support includes development and maintenance of Life Cycle Cost Estimates and models for Defense Acquisition programs, analysis and reporting of cost data, and conducting excursionsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in developing cost estimates using applied mathematics, probability, statistics, regression analysis, linear algebra, learning curves, and data collection.Assist in reviewing Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARDS).Assist in cost research using DD Form 1921s and Cost Performance Reports/Integrated Program Management Reports (CPR/IPMR) to obtain essential cost data from contractors for the purpose of establishing a credible cost database for use in analysis required.Participate as a team member in analysis of alternatives and cost studies.Collect and manage cost data, technical baseline data, and cost research/analysisInformation Technology Requirements: Working knowledge of MS Office.
