GC Services Senior Treasury Manager in Houston, Texas

Overview

Oversees the operations of the reconciliation and accounts receivable departments.Responsiblefor departmental deadlines and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve the daily cash report prior to distribution

  • Review and approve daily wires for specific clients

  • Review and approve monthly report of outstanding receivables

  • Periodically review the aging report of outstanding receivables for any issues

  • Review and approve various general ledger reconciliation’s

  • Reconcile general ledger reconciliation’s and resolve outstanding items

  • Review and approve inventory, financial and trust reconciliations due to various clients

  • Review and approve monthly journal entries

  • Set deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed.

  • Understand and meet all daily, weekly and monthly deadlines

  • Review and approve adjustments to client receivables

  • Perform and understand all job tasks within area of responsibility

  • Clearly communicate with direct reports, coworkers and clients

  • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals

  • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers

  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others

  • Perform additional duties as required by management

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; Accounting Degree preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years management experience in the accounts receivable area

  • General ledger reconciliation experience is preferred

  • Collection of outstanding receivables experience is preferred

Computer Experience:

Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.
