A prominent Robert Half client has an IMMEDIATE opening for a NURSE PARALEGAL with extensive knowledge of medical terminology. THIS IS A full-time FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY! Nurse license is NOT required - EXPERIENCE is more important!

Must have extensive knowledge of medical terminology to be considered for this position. Duties include but not limited to assisting attorneys with understanding, summarizing, and interpreting medical records. Attorney collaboration regarding medications, diseases processes, complications, pre-existing conditions, lab results, radiology results, and standards of care. Assist attorneys with relevant health questions. Preliminary case review to include extensive review of medical billing records and document management of same. Prepare detailed medical chronologies, time lines, and graphs of pertinent information obtained from patient interview to be used at depositions and trial. Prepare and manage detailed spreadsheets using Excel and Egnyte ? online file sharing program. Assist attorneys with the evaluation of expert reports. Assist attorneys with the preparation of medical deposition questions for designated experts. Review and analyze discovery responses for healthcare providers and other relevant information. Assist with the investigation of possible issues of the case prior to filing law suit. Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses. Assist attorneys in all phases of trial preparation and attend trial ? if necessary.

REQUIRED experience: Extensive knowledge of medical terminology is a MUST! Nurse license is NOT required - EXPERIENCE is more important!
