Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring a North America Region Sales and Commercial Leader to be based out of Houston, TX. The Leader will define and implement growth strategies in coordination with the regional leadership, as well as secure business growth and margins. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the regional key accounts sales team and regional commercial operations teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with region leadership to develop and executego-to-market strategies that drive profitable orders growth in line withthe global requirements

  • Be accountable for revenue and margin results againstforecasts

  • Lead regional commercial operations team to implementaccount strategies, structure deals, and close orders

  • Responsible to drive commercial excellence, intensityand strategic pricing

  • Leverage the breadth of BHGE to increase competitiveadvantage

  • Lead marketing activities for region, provide accurateanalytics regarding current situation and total available market for eachsegment of the business; develop and execute segment plans designed toincrease and promote growth

  • Lead the strategic marketing and regional marketdevelopment resources to improve market segmentation and define projectopportunities

  • Be responsible for developing and executing a robustdeal review, risk mitigation, and customer communication process

  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance in a matrixenvironment to drive optimal bid results and minimize risk in coordinationwith Engineering, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, andCompliance

  • Be accountable for the attraction and development oftalent, succession planning, and sustainability of commercial pipelinewith depth of expertise

  • Provide the necessary leadership, support, and guidanceto ensure the sales strategy is aligned with business direction to meetoverall business objectives

  • Champion broad-based customer-centered initiatives

  • Leverage cross-functional and cross-business resourcesto maximize market penetration

  • Drive strategic partnerships with key customers andprovide key feedback to the leadership to ensure strategic roadmapalignment of product offerings

  • Build customer relationships and communication at alllevels, focusing on key decision makers and C-suite and working closelywith regional decision makers and governments to drive customersatisfaction

  • Be a conduit for solutions; have a detailed understandingof customer's business model and how BHGE's products and services developand deliver added value to the customer

  • Actively participate in community events with thecustomer

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the product linesales and strategic accounts teams

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college oruniversity

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in direct sales, accountor team leadership experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA Degree from accredited college or university
