Hasbro Sr Compliance Specialist (Internal Control) in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Internal Controls Team helps to ensure proper controls processes are in place, control activities are properly carried out and compliance of Company’s policies and procedures for Global Development and Sourcing Operations (GDSO) function. Senior Compliance Specialist will assist the Manager of Internal Controls Team to review and assess the financial and operational processes & procedures to ensure proper controls and efficiency are in place.


  • Assist Manager to develop, implement and execute internal control system/procedures

  • Arrange and conduct the SOX compliance work for GDSO function. Work closely with different operators / departments for the SOX compliance work and conduct assessment testing to ensure the key controls are effective

  • Liaise with Internal Auditors and External Auditors and assist auditors to conduct the audit reviews

  • Work closely with the operators to develop and implement remedies and ensure the audit issues are timely closed to ensure proper compliance

  • Review and update the Company's policies, business workflow, internal controls processes and procedures

  • Assist Manager to prepare the internal controls review reports and updates to senior management on regular basis


  • Degree holder in Business Administration or equivalent academic qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control / internal audit and SOX compliance

  • Sound knowledge and experience in internal control system review; practical experience in applying the COSO Framework

  • Able to challenge the status quo and provide insight and recommendations on the change to strike the balance of internal controls and operation efficiency

  • Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Highly motivated with strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills and able to work independently

  • Ability to work proactively, demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivery, and adjust to changing priorities
