Kforce City Clerk in Hollywood, Florida

Kforce has a client that is seeking a City Clerk in Pembroke Park, Florida (FL). Responsible for:

  • Maintaining public records and properly disposing of public records

  • Responsible for local election and following the proper procedures

  • Prepare meeting agendas

  • Manage work schedules, calendars, and appointments

  • Obtain information to respond to requests by reviewing files, documents, and records

  • Take inventory and order materials, supplies, and services as needed

  • Compile and maintain records of office activities and business transactions

  • Type, format, proofread and edit documents from notes or dictation

  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products

  • Prefers a background of government or not for profit experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient using MS Office and Outlook

  • Assertive and great attention to detail

  • Must have experience keeping minutes for meetings conducted by the board
