As Privacy Manager, you will have the opportunity to as a part of a dynamic, friendly and experienced global team on privacy issues impacting Live Nation Entertainment’s businesses and offerings across the globe. We are about putting on the best experiences possible. Part of curating our services and coming up with exciting offerings is in designing products that respect fan security and privacy. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with key members of the business, engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting edge initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the business, including product and technology teams, to design innovative privacy solutions as part of pragmatic advice and conducting Privacy Impact Assessments

  • Support colleagues in the legal department on Live Nation Entertainment activities and regulatory matters

  • Develop and lead training and awareness sessions with the business to promote a culture of privacy and advise business leads to understand how privacy requirements affect their area

  • Maintain and draft new guidance and designs to support the business on a variety of topics

  • Collaborate with relevant business stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve the performance and maturity of the Live Nation Entertainment privacy program

  • Foster partnerships with the business as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert

  • Maintain knowledge of applicable privacy laws, regulations, standards, and advancements in technologies

Qualifications:

  • A legal qualification and/or law degree is valuable, but not essential (JD or related M.S./M.A. degree including communications, engineering or IT)

  • Minimum of three years' experience in dedicated role managing privacy, data governance or risk management operations

  • Experience drafting privacy and data protection policies preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Prior experience and working knowledge of data privacy and security laws and regulatory trends affecting the U.S., Canada and Europe

  • Working knowledge of information security and privacy frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000 series, FIPPs)

  • Ability to identify and analyze data protection risks and controls and deliver pragmatic solutions

  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects with varying deadlines

  • Experience working with senior level officials across key functions critical to a privacy organization

  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects with varying deadlines

  • Experience explaining complex and technical issues/topics and gaining support and consensus from multiple stakeholders

  • Able to liaise effectively with both lawyers and business partners;

  • Adaptable, diligent and works with initiative;

  • A can-do attitude with a proven track record of bringing business stakeholders onside;

  • A genuine passion for all things data;

  • Effective time management, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks

  • Experience drafting privacy and data protection policies

  • Involvement in global cross-company privacy programs and/or initiatives, including GDPR, preferred

  • Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and leveraging Privacy-by-Design (PbD)

  • Further qualifications in supporting fields (such as compliance, audit, information security)

  • IAPP certification (CIPP)

  • Additional foreign languages a plus

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
