Lockheed Martin F-35 Material Review Engineer in Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Description: --Lockheed Martin F35 Program--
F-35 Material Review Engineer – Assignment is at Hill Air Force Base, Utah covering depot modification level support for the F-35 program. The candidate must possess a unique set of skills combining strong engineering credentials with a strong interest in developing full understanding of depot practices and procedures. Primary duties of this assignment include anomaly investigation, technical solution development and preparation and release of dispositions for discrepancies on high performance aircraft detail parts, assemblies, and/or installations. Position requires developing a broad knowledge of aircraft maintenance and test support with the flexibility to work off hours and weekends. Selected candidate will represent MR at high level meetings and stay in close communication with the FW team to ensure depot priorities are addressed. In addition, successful candidate shall have a strong internal customer focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate will be required to participate in training in Fort Worth for MR Engineering certification prior to final deployment to Hill AFB. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and special program clearances.

Must have a interim secret to start and the ability to obtain a secret clearance
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Civil Engineering field from an accredited college.
--CATIA V4 and/or V5,
-- Microsoft Office,
--Familiarity with JSF tools and processes including PDM, JDL, VAS, ALIS and QADs.
--Previous government customer interface experience.
--Prior experience with aircraft design, assembly, or repair.
--Logical problem solver.
--Self-starting, multi-tasker with a willingness to work off-shift hours and weekends when requested to provide necessary support.
--Prior Material Review Engineering experience a plus.
