Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are currently recruiting a proven Principal Product Advisor in the Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management Center of Excellence team to work with internal teams, partners (system implementers) and select customer to ensure implementation excellence and success. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to support our growth of customers and partners as we launch the next generation of products on the HCM SaaS platform. As a member of the HCM Center of Excellence team, you ll have the opportunity to translate your HCM industry, product, technology, customer experience and passion for excellence into providing best practice and robust solutions to guarantee customer success.
Develop broad knowledge of the Fusion HCM products, along with a deep specialization in Global HR.
Publish best practice material including whitepapers, how-to s, best-in-class case studies of product usage by customers.
As a product expert, directly advise customers and partners on key aspects of product implementation.
Conduct regular milestone checkpoint reviews and produce an assessment and recommendations report.
Transition customers post-implementation to the Customer Success Specialist.
Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction throughout the implementation and the first 3 months post-live.
Handle customer and partner escalations professionally providing complete resolution.
Manage assigned partner relationships and individual partner engagements with collaboration and lead with knowledge and best practices.
Evangelize Global HR & Talent best practices in field usage throughout the organization and to customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships and communication within the Product Development teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
10 years functional experience of recent Enterprise-level HCM Implementation Project leadership experience, including Talent, Global HR, Payroll, and Compensation and Benefits [Fusion, E-Business Suite and/or PeopleSoft].
5 years of functional and technical Global HR and Talent implementation experience with Fortune 100 customers.
5 years exp. working directly with Software Engineering teams and top-tier partners/system implementers.
Understanding of Oracle s cloud strategy.
Bilingual Spanish and English fluency.
Ability to travel up to 40%.
Bachelors or Master s degree.
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally, to all levels internally and externally in the English language.
Strong customer relationship skills and demonstrated ability to develop successful solutions for customers.
A creative and agile problem-solver, and self-starter with a track record of success.
