Responsibilities:

  • Grow NECs charter business in atargeted area through direct sales to large target customers (eventcoordinators, sports arenas, etc.)

  • Work with the Charter Coordinatorsin the area to ensure successfully delivery of service and customersatisfaction

  • Builds and manages positive workingrelationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders tocollaborate on new charter business proposals and issue resolution

  • Identify and create a pool ofpotential sales opportunities and clients, collecting and analyzing competitiveintelligence within specific communities

  • Manage the development ofinitiatives to enhance operational and revenue growth by exploring potentialadjacent markets

  • Manage and lead the development ofresponses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for charters (e.g. Letters of Intent,Letters of Agreement, Contracts, etc.)

  • Properly quote, book and follow upon customer inquiries (internal and external)

  • Negotiate rates and terms of chartercontracts

  • Market charter business to fieldaccount representatives (local/onsite sales rep, in essence)

  • Provide field support for leadgeneration and new business (sales and marketing tools)

  • Follow up on new business leads viamultiple vehicles (websites, references, etc)

  • Track and report on all initiativesemployed to grow the charter business (to senior leadership)

  • Prospect and match charteropportunities with vial field locations within the region

  • Provide onsite support for all largeevents (AT&T, Special Events, Globe Life Park, community events)

  • Serve as onsite liaison for eventsrequiring ground crew

  • Supervises Charter Drivers

  • Ensures DOT Compliance for alldrivers

  • Secures DOT Permits for tripsrequiring them

  • Fills in for the General Manager inhis/her absence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business,Marketing or related field

  • 5-7 Years’ experience in sales andor charter work and customer service

  • Experience in negotiating contracts

  • Experience in developing a salesplan, developing a sales pipeline and achieving agreed upon sales quotas.

  • Must be able to analyze salesresults and draw conclusions

  • Superb communication skills, bothoral and written

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Strong working knowledge withMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, CRM Systems(preferably Salesforce.com)

  • Knowledge of transportation / travelindustry

  • CDL with proper endorsements orability to obtain
