The RN Clinic Manager receives direction from Managerial Team. Gives direction to clinical support staff members of designated teams. Provide leadership and promote collaboration with internal and external team members. Works cooperatively with staff to provide direct patient care. Provides clinical expertise and mentoring for clinical staff. Supports the overall vision of patient center medical home by achieving a positive balance of healthcare, cost outcomes and patient satisfaction on specific teams. Accountable for the patient experience through the system. Ensures appropriate standards of care are implemented and in compliance with all state and federal regulations, standards of practice, corporate policies and procedures. Excellent leadership skills to include strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Supervises daily operations at clinic site and coordinates the work activities, schedules and confirmations
Administers clinic policies and procedures in a consistent and timely manner
Recruit, hire, trains and supervises assigned employees
Complete payroll, scheduling, and other important duties in timely manner
Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately
Responsible to ensure accurate charges are entered in IDX
Identifies and resolves work problems to ensure quality patient service
Actively participates in financial reports, budget and prepares variance reports
Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested
Responsible for implementation of safety functions in clinics and daily facility management to include alarm response (if applicable) and facility maintenance. Attend safety meetings and provide input for change to meet safety regulations
Ensure completion of safety training for new employees and completion of quarterly fire drills
Collaborates with Physician Leads in the performance evaluation process
Travel between local clinics for training, meetings, and audits may be required
Oversight of 4 back office operations and Medical Assistants
Current, unrestricted NV RN license or temporary NV RN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV RN license upon expiration of temporary NV RN license
BLS (or willing to possess within 30 days of hire)
3+ years clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient setting
2+ years previous supervisory experience
Knowledge of organization policies and procedures, computer applications, including strong Microsoft Word and Excel
Possess fiscal management and human resource management techniques and practices
Understanding of process flows regarding service levels, cash handling and collections
Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding
Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate data
Previous Urology or Specialty experience
