ManTech Network Engineer - Storage in Hampton, Virginia

Network Engineer - Storage will:

• Provide network engineering support.

• Provide expertise in the operations and maintenance of the AFIN boundary devices, vulnerability management systems, and end point protection.

• Support the ESU's directory services, messaging, collaboration, and monitoring activities.

• Perform storage engineering support.

• Define and analyze system requirements and develop specifications.

• Direct the implementation of patch management.

• Support the development of procedures and checklists.

• Administer, operate, manage and maintain storage area networks in the Air Force Information Network (AFIN) from Peterson AFB, CO including administer, develop, manage, and perform disaster recovery procedures and processes for managed SANs.

• Work assigned shift (5 consecutive days, 8 hours each, 40 hours per week) and must be flexible to rotate to another shift if needed.

• Other duties may include engineering studies and client/server or Internet/intranet applications, messaging, systems engineering, systems integration, network monitoring and infrastructure support.


• Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance

• Security+ or other 8570 IAT II satisfying certification is required

• Must have major storage vendor administrative experience, enterprise back-ups, network administrative experience

• Requires 1-4 years of directly related experience


• NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA), EMC Information Storage and Management Associate (EMCISA), MCSA Windows Server 2012, CompTIA Cloud• VMWare / Windows Server administrative experience
