To create new business and develop existing accounts for Dell EMC in the Startup ecosystem, the individual must be well versed with the startup space in India, should be capable of understanding the key business drivers, business issues and objectives so she/ he can translate and articulate Dell EMC value proposition. Crucial for success is the candidate’s ability to work with, and drive diverse teams. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue and margin targets and should be able to translate strategic objectives into business plans.


  • Responsible for driving business from the startup ecosystem in India for the complete portfolio of Dell Technologies

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities at assigned accounts. Drive new business by leveraging both industry and technical background.

  • Responsible for managing environments suited to instill best practices across all key Accounts - achieve sales goals and objectives.Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on Dell EMC value proposition.Lead and mentor a diverse team to deliver sales and margin targets. Establish and build on relationships with the principle ISV’s, SI’s and channel partners who can affect current/future business.

  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts that reflects the current quarter position and outlook for the following quarter and year


  • 15-25 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience·

  • 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people management

  • Understanding of the Venture Capital & Private Equity investment space and relationships with key institutions or executives in that segment

  • Prior experience in building or running a start-up

  • Knowledge and understanding of key trends in start-ups in Fintech, AI/ML, Robotics, Big Data


  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.

  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a work group

  • Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables.

  • Strategic planning abilities

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management in a matrix environment

  • Possesses operational command of the business.

  • Conflict resolution skills.
