Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontract Manager Staff for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to perform subcontract duties in the Hypersonic Missile Line of Business. Duties include: Supporting numerous new business proposals and post award execution for contracts. Working with Program Management to establish the initial expectations to be required from the Subcontractor. Evaluating / Negotiating / Managing assigned Subcontracts to perform to the program’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of Hardware, SDRL’s (Subcontract Data Requirements List) or other deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract. Working within a team environment, yet maintain control of Subcontractors to eliminate unauthorized changes. Earned Value Management (EVM) monitoring and possibly Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. Performing development activities may be required to validate efforts in accordance with Corporate Product Development Process (PDP) Procedures which may include the Design, Technical and Program Reviews. Working with various program teams and customers to establish scope and budgets acceptable to both the customer and Lockheed Martin. This position will require travel.
Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment. Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirements.
Must have ability to obtain secret security clearance.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to develop teammates. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications. Problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally
Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin acquisition . Working knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P). Experience with managing Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable subcontracts. Experience in managing large subcontractors with EVMS requirements.
