Lockheed Martin Business Development Analyst Staff in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description: Strategy and Business Development for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) programs is seeking a Business Development Lead to support worldwide sales. Pursuit and Capture Lead for air and missile defense systems, logistics support and follow-on opportunities in multiple countries. Extensive travel is required. The position will be based in Grand Prairie, TX.
Identifying new business opportunities for air and missile defense and adjacent areas and establish the strategy for capturing those opportunities.
Interfacing with the customer and shaping their opportunities, considering requirements, existing capabilities and funding availability.
Coordinating closely with the MFC International and LM International personnel and coordinating reports, activities, and visits as necessary.
Providing advice and recommendations to Director, IBD and VP SBD on international business pursuits, as requested.
Developing and maintaining productive business relationships with relevant current and potential international organizations, partner companies and suppliers.
Coordinating activities with appropriate US government offices and country teams to garner and sustain their support and to ascertain current status of initiatives within the US Government.
Initiating required Department of State export licenses to market products internationally.
Acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries, general correspondence, requests for technical and pricing data, and other business transactions.
Participating in Foreign Military Sales contract negotiations with the US Government and in Direct Commercial Sales contract negations with foreign customers.
Developing and managing input for the company’s Long Range Operating Plan.
Assisting program management in proposal development.
Developing overhead, capital and new business acquisition expenditure requirements.
Conducting business in strict compliance with all corporate and company command media and within applicable state, federal, and international regulations.
Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Some experience in business development and/or operational experience
Understanding of the Department of Defense Security Assistance management processes and application to Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with MS PowerPoint for the creation of plans and briefings suitable for internal and external customer presentation.
Team Player – effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives.
Deal closer – highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion.
Knowledge of potential customers and demonstrated customer relations skills.
Ability to understand and interpret international customers' needs and requirements and relate them back to programmatic requirements.

Must be able to operate and thrive in a fast-paced international environment.
Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive arena.
Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of MFC process requirements, limiting the learning curve associated with this new position.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with some professional experience
Experience in Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s products and services.
Demonstrated capture expertise
Experience in US Army Air Defense systems, US DOD security assistance processes, and non-US countries’ acquisition processes
USG OMC/Embassy knowledge in Europe with USEUCOM and NATO experience
Technical and or tactical knowledge of Air and Missile Defense and associated systems
International business experience with knowledge of cultures and customs
Graduate degree in Business or Engineering
Speaks foreign language(s) or experience living/working in a foreign country
