Position Summary:

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is the primary lead in identifying and qualifying complex Healthcare Managed IT Service opportunities that range in value from $10M to $250M. The BDE is responsible for the identification of highly complex IT solutions

while interacting with senior client executives. The portfolio of solutions includes, but is not limited to:

· Enterprise Solutions

o Cyber Security

o Cloud/Data Center Management

o Data Center Operations

o Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity

· End User Solutions

o Seat Management

o Mobility Solutions

o Field Services

o Service Desk

o Application Management

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage target accounts as defined

· Drive new business and further penetrate target accounts

· Develop and maintain a trusted advisor role with the identified named accounts

· Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned target accounts and creates high level of trust, openness, and access to multiple levels of client contacts

· Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and clients’ expectations.

· Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period

· Involves client in the account plan development creation and execution

· Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates client needs on an ongoing basis

· Leads solution development efforts that best address client needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

· Achieves pipeline and sales process KPIs and metrics as assigned Cultivate a team environment by participating on regional calls

· Conduct effective sales presentations/meetings

Education and Minimum Experience:

· BA/BS Degree and a minimum 12 years of healthcare IT Outsourcing sales experience or Master’s Degree and a minimum 10 years of healthcare IT Outsourcing sales experience required

· Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team through the selling process

· Proven success using consultative selling in healthcare and healthcare IT industry

· Strong leadership skills

· Superior communication and assessment skills

· CRM and basic MS Office experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

· Strong Leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead

· Demonstrate knowledge of the healthcare IT & consulting sales skills

· Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to think critically and develop strategies to drive new business

· Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills

· Problem solver, creative thinker, subject matter expertise, can engage clients strategically with an executive presence, can demonstrate value to the client, becomes a trusted advisor to the client

· Shows persistence, drive / step ahead of the client, passion, commitment

· Think strategically; balance long and short-term priorities

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Travel Requirements:

· Ability to travel as required to client sites and other company-sponsored events (approximately 70-80%)

Freedom to Act:

· Work is performed without appreciable direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives in an unsupervised and unstructured environment. Teams include both client

staff and Leidos Health Consultants.
