CACI International Senior Hardware/Software installation Technician (Senior Field Service Engineer in Glen Burnie, Maryland
CACI is looking for a motivated Senior Hardware/Software installation Technician (Senior Field Service Engineer) in the MD area. Join team CACI to Provide support to the Project Manager, Field team, and other Project Engineers in all aspects of the electrical project.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Under general direction, install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment.
Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed.
Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the MPE customers' needs.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work required.
Troubleshoot problems at MPE customer sites and communicates to the MPE Chief Engineer.
Work collaboratively with other technicians, supervisors and engineers in the MPE PMO and at customer site.
More About the Role:
Communicate functional system requirements and manage the corresponding customer expectations of the installation.
Communicate functional system changes to the software group that are stated/implied by the customer.
Configure/set-up system hardware and perform hardware diagnostics when problems occur.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Five years direct experience in the last eight years.
ITIL Foundations certification required. must be current or able to be obtain within 90 days of start date.
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline IAT Level I or Level II certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP).
