Kelly Services Administration Assistant in Gaithersburg, Maryland

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for one of our multinational pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical clients in Gaithersburg, MD.

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months (possible extension). If the assignment ends after 3 months, the company frequently has open administrative positions and will place a stronger emphasis on candidates with previous experience with the company

Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday

Pay Rate Range: $24.50 per hour

Job Duties:


  • Provides basic administrative support and performs administrative tasks according to set policies and procedures. Individuals in this role carry out a range of relatively routine activities and processes to provide support to the business unit. This role impacts the reputation of the function it serves as the initial point of contact for many customers.\t

  • Manages executive calendar of events\t

  • Manages email correspondence as appropriate\t

  • Manages all travel and transportation\t

  • Handles all expenses of executive and their direct reports\t

  • Orders equipment for all new employees of function\t

  • Requires ability to use discretion on matters of sensitive nature

Job Requirements:


  • 5 years of administrative support experience in an enterprise organization\t

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
