The Electrical & Electronics Powertrain department has the worldwide responsibility for the Electronic and Software Platform and the Toolchain used to develop driveline ECUs covering a large set of applications ranging from Combustion engine to full electric vehicle management. We in-house develop all technical solutions for our future trucks, while continually adapting our current products to meet market demands.
In this position, you will be reporting to the Director E&E Powertrain Sweden and assist him in managing the section and handling the communication for Powertrain Engineering Sweden.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Business and agenda planning for the E&E Director
Plan, administer and manage meetings and conferences
Be an active participant in department meetings, take minutes and maintain the action list
Assist the department with administrative orders in EBD, Faros, Origo etc.
Participate in the assistant network at GTT
Develop, maintain & improve the communication for Powertrain Engineering Sweden
Organize events for E&E
Promote and practice the company policies and procedures and ensure following up of best practices
Background and Key Competencies:
Willing to work in fast-paced, demanding global environment
Professional, intuitive, service-minded and problem solving skills
Excellent understanding of all applicable internal processes
Advanced level of IT tools e.g. Microsoft Office, Share Point (Teamplace), Skype Lync
Ability to prioritize and a determination to finalize tasks with a high quality mindset
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Proactive flexible, independent and able to handle multiple tasks
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Proficiency in the English and Swedish languages is required, other languages considered an additional merit
Relevant education in administration / communication
Experience from similar positions
Good understanding of the Volvo Group Business
