PetroChoice Pricing Specialist in Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania
The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and updating vendor and customer pricing via manual/ automated data updates and through guided analysis. The Pricing Specialist will also work closely with members of the Sales and Procurement team to ensure data accuracy and to maintain acceptable margins.
The successful candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills and a tolerance for ambiguity.

Update customer prices and/ or rebates in the Company’s ERP systems as per Sales feedback and/ or vendor movement, conducting margin analysis as needed to maintain or increase overall profitability
Update vendor prices in the Company’s ERP systems for Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners, identifying impact to customer prices (if needed)
Monitor daily and weekly financial reports to identify and correct issues with costs, prices, and/ or customer rebates
Support the Pricing Analyst in conducting mass-vendor price changes, as required
Support the Pricing Director in conducting pricing analysis, including (but not limited to) what-if scenario planning, mass-customer or -item margin reviews, and rebates opportunity studies

Bachelor's degree (BA/ BS) from an accredited four-year College or University and 2-5 years’ related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret vendor pricing sheets, purchase and sales orders, invoices, and standard financial reports. Ability to understand and respond to written or spoken communication pertaining to pricing from all management levels and from both Sales and Finance perspectives
Ability to apply basic/ intermediate mathematical concepts, including basic statistical analysis (using Microsoft Excel) to translate vendor pricing sheets into correct per-gallon, -pound, and –unit costs and contract/ level prices and to conduct margin analysis at the corporate, regional, vendor, or customer level.
Ability to quantify current and potential profitability at the corporate, regional, vendor, or customer level, leveraging both existing data and unstructured commentary from a variety of stakeholders. Ability to conduct guided analysis independently to evaluate potential changes to vendor and/ or customer prices.
Previous experience or demonstrated ability to learn robust ERP software; prior experience using Epicor Prophet 21 and/ or SAP will be a strong advantage. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with deep familiarity using Excel to evaluate large datasets (i.e., using a wide range of math and reference functions); previous experience developing PowerPoint presentations will be a strong advantage. Prior experience working SQL and/ or Power BI will also be a strong advantage.
