Praescient Analytics MRX IO Planner and Scenario Developer in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia
Our team of Analysts and Developers/Engineers provide high end support to key organizations within the Commercial sector, Military, Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), State and Local Law Enforcement and Intelligence Community. We are seeking a Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) Information Operations (IO) Planner and Scenario Developer to support the Army’s 1st IO’s Command located in Ft. Belvoir, VA / Alexandria, VA. Your purpose is to develop exercise-related operational scenarios and replicate key supported unit staff elements and Information Related Capabilities subject matter experts (e.g., Electronic Warfare, Civil Military Operations, MISO, Cyber, etc.), which IO Field Support Team (FST) work with during a deployment. Accordingly, an MRX IO Planner/Scenario Developer performs the duties referenced below.
What you can expect to work on
Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of information operations (IO); creative use of information related capabilities (IRC); integration with inter-agency and intelligence community (IC); and provide key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning.
Assist or lead MRX design, data collection, and Master Scenario Events List scenario, and inject development. Required products include e-mails; orders; briefings; reports; images; scripts; intelligence; and related electronic files.
Participate in extensive MRX MSEL inject review and rehearsal sessions to identify errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
Assist with editing, refining, and re-rehearsing injects.
Execute their roles IAW the MRX MSEL injects, scripts, and time-lines. This includes attending Staff meetings, working groups, planning sessions, and ad-hoc face-to-face meetings.
Provide written and verbal lessons learned regarding all phases of the MRX.
What we expect from you
At least 12 years of Military operational experience
Detailed knowledge and application of Information Operations and how to integrate IO related capabilities
Practical application of the military and joint decision-making processes (e.g., MDMP, MCPP, JOPES), SOF planning processes, Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, Intelligence cycle
Ability to interact and facilitate small groups to conduct planning, coordination, data research, analysis, and information requirements development in support of Information Operations and related exercises
Working knowledge/application of Military Deception (MILDEC) planning
Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, research and planning skills
Sound knowledge of Army collective training doctrine, methods, and regulations
Experience in handling and marking classified material
Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred knowledge of the Middle East and other CENTCOM and US AFRICOM areas of operation
Deployment experience strongly preferred
Former Army or Marine Corps senior Company Grade (Captain) or Field Grade Officer (Major, Lieutenant Colonel)
Information Related Capability specialist
Minimum Bachelor’s degree
Army or Marine Corps Command and Staff College Graduate
- Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly if required
