Job Description

The Associate Account Manager role provides sales support to Sales Director, Key Account Manager(s), and customers to achieve financial goals for assigned accounts while improving overall Customer Satisfaction with Bosch. Success will be measured through increased sales, improved customer metrics and increased market share at assigned accounts. Key job functions are:

  • Partner with Strategic Account Manager to develop promotions and programs leading to growth for your assigned accounts.

  • Consult with customers on the complete OES product portfolio.

  • Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations and Distribution to provide customer product quotes and reports.

  • Track customer KPIs and overall Bosch performance. Timely follow up to customer situations.

  • Gather competitive data and assist in the creation of sales counter measures.

This role has the responsibility to:

  • Analysis and evaluation of complex customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to support creation and implementation of a market pursuit strategy.

  • Supports management with local office management and administration tasks.

  • Write and present proposals.

  • Liaison with Marketing to develop and maintain promotional programs and materials to increase daily sales.

  • Generates reports (e.g., open orders, sales history) to assist Key Account Managers and customers in identifying and resolving customer concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years of related account support or account management work experience.

  • Ability to actively listen for customer problems and develop solutions to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

  • Interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong report writing and sales analysis experience with proven analytical problem solving skills.

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize work focus based on varied criteria, deadlines, customer needs, situational urgencies and departmental objectives.

  • Must be within a commutable distance to facility.

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without VISA sponsorship.

  • Not eligible for internal VA/VN international assignment.
