Job Description

Specific Responsibilities and Skills

This position is for a Business Conduct Associate Manager – Training Technologist focused on supporting and partnering with Business Conduct Training and other key business areas to support, assess, and deliver Training Technology needs. This position also will manage and conduct Global LMS training needs assessment for the compliance training team. This person will review key business outcomes and extract from them the key training needs and maintain accurate records of completion of compliance training throughout Gilead.

  • Work with Global Compliance Training team to determine and communicate course creation tool standards

  • Knowledge of AICC/SCORM standards, G360 CRM/SalesForce knowledge

  • Testing of AICC/SCORM courses

  • Work Globally with SF (Success Factor) on on-line delivery and running of the content

  • Work Globally with SF and Gilead IT on performance

  • Work to customize Success Factor to address Compliance Training needs

  • Ensure accurate tracking of content

  • Tracking Live attendance and archiving presentations in Success Factor

  • Reporting improvements

  • Tracking and reporting completion to leadership for modules and trainings in Success Factor

  • Project Planning for National and Mid-Year Sales Meetings

  • Vendor management

  • Troubleshooting issues

  • Functionality enhancements

  • Bug fixes (working with host company support team and IT)

  • Support liaison and integration with vendors like Scrimmage, Brainshark, and Survey Monkey, and LRN (Training Vendor)

  • Manage LRN Vendor customization of training modules

  • Collaborate with business partners on SharePoint

  • Web Design Knowledge

  • Work closely with key stakeholders

  • Approximately 10% travel required

Education & Experience

  • 4+ years of related experience in a business setting and a BS or BA degree

  • 2+ years of successful Database Administration, LMS management, and technology application experience typically required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • IT Background preferred

  • Strong interpersonal communication, facilitation, problem solving, decision making, and training skills

  • Ability to effectively manage a project from its initiation to delivery with decreasing levels of supervision over time

  • Adept at working with the customers, business partners, and SMEs to understand the training needs, training content, system functionality and culture of the organization

  • Ability to interact comfortably with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Proven curriculum development and instructional design skills

  • Demonstrated classroom training, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Ability to function independently in a multi-tasking environment, as well as part of a team

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Web Design, Photoshop
