Are you passionate about Customer Service? As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the Exhibit Transportation Department in our call center. Punctual and driven, you apply your experience providing customer support over the phone to assist clients with their transportation needs and questions. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills will be critical to succeed in this role. Additional duties include:

  • Coordinate all round trip transportation requirements for predetermined clients

  • Utilize the current Exhibit Transportation shipment management system for all shipments and ensure that all necessary shipment documentation is properly prepared and distributed

  • Effectively communicate and follow up with selective partner carriers to ensure transportation requirements are met

  • Obtain most competitive freight quotes in a timely manner and communicate suggested retail pricing to account executives

  • Effectively communicate shipment details with Freeman Exhibit Transportation staffs, account executives, account managers, and project managers

  • Responsible for communicating pertinent information to internal companies and departments to ensure seamless exhibit transportation services

  • Efficiently utilize carrier software programs to monitor and manage all tendered shipments

  • Manage and reconcile all carrier invoicing

  • Prepare monthly shipment and revenue reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to type 40 wpm

  • Must have excellent 10-key by touch skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Must be detail oriented and organized

  • Proven communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Demonstrated analytical and organization skills

  • Proven customer service skills


  • Minimum two (2) years experience in the transportation industry
